(1)专业概况

肇庆学院电气工程及其自动化专业(专业代码:080601)是一门集电气工程、自动化技术、计算机技术等多学科交叉融合的综合性本科专业,学制四年。本专业立足粤港澳大湾区经济社会发展需求,紧密对接国家电子信息与电气工程产业发展战略,旨在培养具备扎实的电气工程理论基础和较强实践能力,能够在电力系统运行与控制、工业自动化、新能源技术开发等领域从事设计、研发、运维、管理等方面工作的高素质应用型人才。

(2)专业特色

第一,产教融合培养模式。学院依托产教融合,精准培育适配区域产业的高层次应用型人才。学院拥有20多个专业实验室,实验面积超6000平方米,设备总值5200余万元,并与华为、风华高科等20余家企业共建实践教学基地。

第二,国际化办学格局。电气工程及其自动化专业开设“2+2”国际联合培养班(国内2年+国外2年),与澳大利亚麦考瑞大学开展本科双学位联合培养项目,培养具备国际视野的高素质复合型人才。

第三,师资雄厚与实践导向。学院共有教职工73人,其中教授(正高级工程师)10人、副教授26人(含聘副教授及副研究员)、高级工程师(高级实验师)6人,博士40人、硕士28人,硕士生导师22人,聘请多位知名企业专家担任兼职客座教授。本专业注重理论与实践相结合,通过丰富的实验课程和企业实习环节,全面培养学生的工程实践能力和创新能力。

第四,广阔就业前景。毕业生深受电网、发电集团及电气设备制造企业欢迎,同时可深造攻读国内外高校研究生。地处粤港澳大湾区,区域电力与新能源产业蓬勃发展,为毕业生提供了广阔的就业平台与发展空间。

(3)培养目标

本专业适应国家基础教育改革发展要求,立足广东省、面向全国,旨在培养具有高尚职业道德、创新精神和社会责任感,具备电气工程基础理论、系统自动化知识、智能控制技术等方面的基本理论、基础知识和基本技能,具备国际化视野,能够在电力系统运行与控制、工业自动化、新能源技术开发等部门/领域/单位/岗位从事设计、研发、运维、管理等方面相关工作的高素质应用型人才。

学生毕业五年后,能达到以下目标:

目标1:具备良好的人文素养、职业道德和社会责任感,遵纪守法,积极践行社会主义核心价值观。

目标2:掌握电气行业的相关标准、规范、流程,能够跟随科技发展,掌握新能源、智能化相关的知识,成长为行业骨干和高等工程人才,能够对电气技术应用领域的软硬件系统提出可行的技术方案,并通过分析、设计、实现、测试,解决实际工程问题。

目标3:具有国际化视野,具备跨文化交流、沟通和团队协作以及项目管理能力,能够在电气工程应用项目中担任重要角色,并发挥有效作用,能够在多文化背景团队中担任组织或管理角色。

目标4:能够持续跟踪国内外电气工程发展趋势和行业动态,具有自主学习的能力、终身学习的追求与创新意识,不断提升专业技能和创新能力,能够积极主动适应不断变化的国内外形势和环境。

本专业毕业生具备扎实的电气工程理论基础与较强的工程实践能力,可在电力系统、工业自动化、新能源开发、电气装备制造、智能电网及智慧城市等多个领域从事设计、研发、运行、维护、技术管理及市场服务等工作。依托粤港澳大湾区发达的制造业、信息技术产业与新能源产业,学生毕业后拥有广阔的就业选择与发展空间。

1. 电力系统领域

毕业生可进入各级电网公司、发电集团、电力设计院及电力工程公司,从事电力系统调度运行、继电保护、变电站自动化、配电网规划与建设等工作。电网及相关电力配套企业是本专业毕业生的传统就业优势单位,岗位稳定发展前景好。

2. 工业自动化与控制

面向各类制造业企业及自动化系统集成商,从事可编程控制器(PLC)编程、工业机器人应用、智能产线控制系统设计、设备维护与改造等工作。广佛肇经济圈及珠三角地区聚集了大量智能装备制造与自动化系统集成企业,对电气自动化人才需求旺盛。

3. 新能源与智能电网

随着全球绿色能源转型,光伏发电、风力发电、储能系统、电动汽车充电设施及微电网技术发展迅速。毕业生可在新能源公司、电力电子企业及智能电网技术公司担任系统设计工程师、运维工程师或技术支持工程师,参与新能源项目开发与实施。

4. 电气设备制造与销售

在高低压电气设备、电机、变压器、变频器、电源设备等制造企业从事产品研发、工艺设计、质量检测与生产管理;也可在国际贸易部门从事电气产品海外销售与技术服务,发挥留学生语言与文化优势,参与“一带一路”沿线国家电力工程建设。

我院电气工程学科是学校重点培育学科,其所属的电子与电气工程学院现共有教职工73人,其中教授(正高级工程师)10人、副教授26人(含聘副教授及副研究员)、高级工程师(高级实验师)6人,博士40人、硕士28人,硕士生导师22人。同时,学院还聘请多位知名科研院所的资深研究员及企业技术专家担任客座教授,形成了“专兼结合、理实并重”的多维度师资结构。

依托首批电子信息硕士学位授权点及电子信息博士点冲刺学科的平台优势,学院汇聚了一批具有深厚学术造诣和国际视野的高层次领军人才。学院教师团队拥有丰富的一线科研成果,近5年来累计承担国家自然科学基金项目4项、广东省自然科学基金项目10余项及其他省部级项目20余项,科研项目到账经费超过4000万元,发表高水平学术论文300余篇,获授权发明专利50余件。其中,以“西江学者”特聘教授、校学术委员会主任为代表的高层次人才,长期活跃在光电材料与智能控制技术领域,成果丰硕。

I. Program Overview and Features

Program Overview

The Electrical Engineering and Automation program (Program Code: 080601) at Zhaoqing University is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program that integrates multiple disciplines, including electrical engineering, automation technology, and computer science. Rooted in the economic and social development needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and closely aligned with the national development strategy for the electronic information and electrical engineering industries, the program aims to cultivate high-quality applied talents with a solid theoretical foundation in electrical engineering and strong practical abilities. Graduates will be capable of engaging in design, R&D, operation, maintenance, and management in fields such as power system operation and control, industrial automation, and new energy technology development.

Program Features

First, an industry-education integration training model. Leveraging industry-education integration, the college precisely cultivates high-level applied talents that serve regional industries. The college has more than 20 specialized laboratories covering an area of over 6,000 square meters, with equipment valued at more than 52 million RMB. It has also co-established practical teaching bases with over 20 enterprises, including Huawei and Fenghua Hi-Tech.

Second, an international education framework. The Electrical Engineering and Automation program offers a “2+2” international joint training track (2 years in China + 2 years abroad) and an undergraduate dual-degree program with Macquarie University in Australia, cultivating high-quality composite talents with a global perspective.

Third, strong faculty and practice orientation. The college has 73 faculty members, including 10 professors (or senior engineers with professorial titles), 26 associate professors (including associate professors and associate researchers), and 6 senior engineers (or senior experimentalists). There are 40 faculty members with doctoral degrees and 28 with master’s degrees, including 22 master’s supervisors. The college also invites a number of well-known industry experts to serve as adjunct visiting professors. This program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, and through abundant laboratory courses and enterprise internships, it fully develops students’ engineering practice and innovation abilities.

Fourth, broad employment prospects. Graduates are highly welcomed by power grid companies, power generation groups, and electrical equipment manufacturers. They may also pursue further graduate studies at domestic or international universities. Located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, where the regional power and new energy industries are thriving, the program offers students vast career platforms and development opportunities.

II. Program Educational Objectives

This program adapts to the requirements of national basic education reform and development. Based in Guangdong Province and open to the whole country, it aims to cultivate high-quality applied talents with strong professional ethics, a spirit of innovation, and social responsibility. Students will acquire fundamental theories in electrical engineering, knowledge of system automation, and intelligent control technologies, as well as the basic skills and a global perspective necessary to engage in design, R&D, operation, maintenance, and management in areas such as power system operation and control, industrial automation, and new energy technology development.

Five years after graduation, students are expected to achieve the following objectives:

Objective 1: Demonstrate good humanistic qualities, professional ethics, and social responsibility, abide by laws and regulations, and actively practice the core socialist values.

Objective 2: Master relevant industry standards, codes, and processes in electrical engineering, keep pace with technological developments, and acquire up‑to‑date knowledge related to new energy and intelligence. Graduates will become industry backbones and high‑level engineering talents, capable of proposing feasible technical solutions for hardware and software systems in electrical engineering applications, and solving practical engineering problems through analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

Objective 3: Possess a global outlook, cross‑cultural communication, teamwork, and project management skills. Be able to play important roles and work effectively in electrical engineering application projects, and assume organizational or managerial roles in multicultural teams.

Objective 4: Continuously track domestic and international trends and industry dynamics in electrical engineering. Demonstrate independent learning ability, a commitment to lifelong learning, and innovative thinking. Continuously improve professional skills and innovation capabilities, and proactively adapt to changing domestic and international environments.

IV. Career Paths

Graduates of this program have a solid theoretical foundation in electrical engineering and strong practical abilities. They can work in power systems, industrial automation, new energy development, electrical equipment manufacturing, smart grids, smart cities, and other areas, engaging in design, R&D, operation, maintenance, technical management, and marketing services. Leveraging the advanced manufacturing, information technology, and new energy industries of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, students will enjoy vast employment choices and development space upon graduation.

1. Power System Sector

Graduates can enter grid companies at various levels, power generation groups, electric power design institutes, and power engineering companies, working on power system dispatching, relay protection, substation automation, distribution network planning and construction, etc. Power grid and related power equipment enterprises are traditional employers for our graduates, offering stable positions with good career prospects.

2. Industrial Automation and Control

Graduates can work for manufacturing enterprises and automation system integrators, engaging in PLC programming, industrial robot applications, intelligent production line control system design, equipment maintenance and retrofitting. The Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing economic circle and the Pearl River Delta region have a high concentration of intelligent equipment manufacturing and automation system integration companies, where there is strong demand for electrical automation talents.

3. New Energy and Smart Grid

With the global green energy transition, photovoltaic power, wind power, energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging facilities, and microgrid technologies are developing rapidly. Graduates can work for new energy companies, power electronics firms, and smart grid technology companies as system design engineers, operation and maintenance engineers, or technical support engineers, participating in the development and implementation of new energy projects.

4. Electrical Equipment Manufacturing and Sales

Graduates can work in product R&D, process design, quality inspection, and production management in manufacturing enterprises producing high‑ and low‑voltage electrical equipment, motors, transformers, frequency converters, power supply equipment, etc. They may also engage in overseas sales of electrical products and technical services in international trade departments, utilizing their language and cross‑cultural strengths to participate in power engineering projects along the “Belt and Road” countries.

The school also invites a number of senior researchers from well‑known research institutes and technical experts from enterprises to serve as adjunct professors, forming a multi‑dimensional faculty structure that combines full‑time and part‑time experts, as well as theoretical and practical expertise.

Benefiting from the university’s first batch of master’s degree authorization points in Electronic Information and the doctoral degree authorization emerging discipline in Electronic Information, the school has gathered a group of high‑level leading talents with profound academic achievements and international perspectives. Over the past five years, the faculty team has undertaken 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, more than 10 projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and over 20 other provincial or ministerial‑level projects. Total research funding received exceeds 40 million RMB. Faculty members have published more than 300 high‑level academic papers and been granted over 50 invention patents. Notably, high‑level talents such as the specially appointed professor of the “Xijiang Scholar” program and the director of the University Academic Committee have long been active in the fields of optoelectronic materials and intelligent control technology, achieving fruitful results.
